Volume 4.1: Playing With Fate

The untied red thread
Meets the ground in slow motion
She doesn't look back

Volume 10071: Parisian Nights

Oh, City of Lights
Please illuminate our hearts
Send sparks to the sky

I look down, although
He is much more striking than
Vanilla lattes

Streetlamp-lit boardwalks
Hand in hand, perfect mood for
Walking down the aisle

Starlight overhead
Lovers' dreams dance on the Seine
Join our perfect waltz

I'd like to think that
We are the epitome
Of runaway dreams

His three simple words
Handwritten on a napkin
Are just what I need

I never knew that
The dream lands I escape to
Gave out souvenirs

We'll meet again in
The city that never sleeps
Bring Nuit Blanche with you

Volume 2: Heartbreak Hotel

Your side of the bed
Though was never really full
Feels emptier now

Did not expect this
Permanent heartache from that
Temporary love

The tears I sleep in
Will never compensate for
Your missing embrace

Volume 12: The Stroke of Midnight

Electricity
Flows out from my fingertips
Midnight poetry

I search the darkness
For a place to deposit
Imagination

Poetry disguised
As magic comes to life
When the clock strikes twelve

Volume 3: 7/13/12-7/15/12

I close tired eyes
Holy voice, greater than life
Lifts me off my feet

Never-ending love
The author of salvation
Brings me back again

Background guitar chords
Break open my heart and mind
A prayer for love

His voice reaches out
Loving, holy, ever true
Fills my broken heart

His voice fills the void
When I haven't strength to sing
The ultimate love

Volume 17: The Cityscape Horizon

The silver moon breaks
The cityscape horizon and
Illuminates my dreams

Waves crash on a shore
The moon is my only friend
Conversations fade

I rest my fingers
On the familiar keys
Of a midnight moonbeam

The city's night sounds
Fade from beneath my wings
A heartbeat in the night

Eyelids fluttering
Like my silk bedroom curtains
I let my dreams in

I reach for the stars
Like skyscrapers around me
And almost succeed

My four-poster bed
Is a smorgasbord of dreams
Called New York City

Train leaves the platform
At  reality station
For a world of dreams

Volume 8: The Silence That Follows

Waves crash on a shore
The moon is my only friend
Conversations fade

It's a silent scream
Of frustration and of hurt
The tear hits the ground

A single tear falls
Silently mixing into
The pool of fresh blood
Shadows on the wall
Remind my restless dreams
That they are not alone

Volume 39: Grace

Repeat after me:
"I will not cheat on Larry"
Ice cream is so good

Volume 88: Melodies

My open window
Lets in a breeze that plays
On my piano

I rest my fingers
On the familiar keys of
A midnight moonbeam

The harp string's last chord
Resonates into the clouds
Welcome, new angel

Volume 10: I Punch In The All-Too-Familliar Numbers

Eagerly waiting
Dial tone breaks the silence
Answering machine

Volume 9: First Day Back

The old chalkboard groans
Tortured by merciless nails
I hate my classmates
